Earlier today at MOFA to present 25,000 cashew seedlings to farmers in the municipality under the Planting for Food and jobs Program. The Municipal Chief Executive urged all especially the youth to take interest in Agriculture and farming in particular instead of the sudden trend of buying and selling. The Coordinating Director gave a brief talk on how the Assembly is willing to support all interested in Agric with the needed knowledge necessary. The Head of Agric Department, Madam Cecilia Adoma Yeboah Jr educated the farmers present on the need to join, register and work with the Department of Agric and on how to properly transport the seedlings they will be given.
