At the special general assembly meeting held on Monday 7th April, 2025, an open statement by the Municipal Coordinating Director and remarks by the Hon. Member of Parliament were given. The meeting proceeded with the swearing in of Government Appointees by the District Court Judge after which a new Municipal Chief Executive was elected; Hon. Dominic Adomah after a tight competition with 3 other presidential nominees. After successfully wining the elections, He was sworn in by the Hon. Regional Minister. He gave an acceptance speech, after which the Municipal Coordinating Director gave a statement on how all members need to come together to appoint a Presiding Member after elections were held severally for that position last year to no avail. Upon advice from the coordinating director, the election for the position of the presiding member was successfully done once, on which Hon. Yeboah Adama emerged as the winner. He gave an acceptance speech after which the closing remarks and prayers were said and the meeting ended.
